Los Angeles Kings 2011-12 preview

  • The Los Angeles Kings have been to the Stanley Cup only once in franchise history and that ended with a disappointing five-game loss to the Montreal Canadiens. This year's Kings may be the club's best chance to get back the final since 1993, but before they earn that opportunity they will have to answer a few burning questions.

Was bringing in Mike Richards the right move? When will Drew Doughty rejoin the team and how long will it take for him to settle in? Who will lead the team in goal, Jonathan Quick or Jonathan Bernier?

On this edition of the THN Puck Panel we preview the 2011-12 Los Angeles Kings. Host Edward Fraser is joined by writers Ryan Kennedy and Ken Campbell to discuss… Why adding Richards will help Anze Kopitar… Dustin Brown and the depth of offense... The one-two punch of Doughty and Jack Johnson… And why Quick’s shootout prowess is so important.
